FAQ
Do I need a doctor's referral? Nope. But you are welcome to have one.

Do you accept insurance? Not Yet. We provide a superbill that you can submit to your insurance. Its easier than you think:

Will my insurance cover the cost? Majority of insurances cover nutritional counseling from RDs. You will need to confirm with your insurance provider as coverage varies.
Do you offer individual counseling? Yes.

Can I share what I learn? Yes! Please help others learn to control their blood sugar too. DPP Baltimore is committed to improving health across the world, and no one organization can do it alone (which is why we also donate 20% of profits to charity). Feel free to share your experience, tips/tricks, and personal efforts with others to help them improve. If they would benefit from the first-hand experience, send them our way.

Do I need bloodwork done? Lab work is not required to sign up. If you have a recent A1c level, that is excellent, as your instructor can speak in more detail about your current condition, and so you can see progress on your follow up labs.

How can I pay? Self Payment is accepted via credit card and Paypal. If you would prefer another form of payment (zelle, venmo, check, those can be arranged with your instructor).

How are virtual sessions conducted? Virtual classes and individual sessions are over Zoom.
